Before we do though, take a look at today’s sponsor, Kailo. Our newsletter is made possible by them — so check out their ad in today’s edition!

The Big 3

The Top 15 NIL Collectives in the Country 🚨

On3 just released their list of the top 15 NIL collectives in college sports. Taking into account the collective’s ability to attract donors, diversify revenue streams, and sign top-end talent, they determined that Ohio State was #1 in the country.

The collective has spent over $20 million on their football roster, including $1 million dollars going to ten separate players. Their collective infrastructure allowed them to land a huge transfer class last Spring, poaching Will Howard from Kansas State and Caleb Downs from Alabama.

Collectives for Tennessee, Texas, Oregon, and Miami rounded out the top five. You can see whether your school made the top fifteen by clicking the following link. (More)

Nautica’s New Brand Ambassadors

Nautica just chose two college athletes as the centerpiece of their fall campaign: LSU gymnast and NIL mogul Livvy Dunne, and Missouri’s superstar receiver Luther Burden III, who could be top ten pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Dunne has been in the fold at Nautica for some time. She signed an NIL partnership with them last February, and has become one of the brand’s primary ambassadors. Burden has been an NIL commodity in his own right – his NIL valuation is worth $769K right now.

Brands like Nautica are tapping into the NIL world to expand their reach to younger audiences. That’s a strategy we’ve seen a lot of brands attempt recently, and it seems to be working. (More)

Oklahoma Linebacker Gives NIL Money to Walk-ons

Oklahoma’s Danny Stutsman was one of the best linebackers in the country last season, which earned him an NIL valuation north of $300K. But instead of keeping his earnings for himself, Stutsman decided to give a portion of his NIL money to his teammates – specifically, walk-on players that otherwise don’t really benefit from NIL.

This wasn’t chump change, either. The gift amounted to over $50K, which was portioned out to 18 different walk-on teammates. Stutsman also gave them each a JBL care package in addition to the money.

“Obviously there’s a day where you feel like your hard work doesn’t get seen, doesn’t get noticed,” Danny Stutsman said, addressing the walk-ons at a team meeting, “But it really does here at Oklahoma. Every single day we appreciate you guys. This team would be nothing without you guys. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.” (More)

When you experience pain, it’s typically the result of electrical signals being sent from the location of the pain to your brain.

The worse the pain, the stronger the signal.

Kailo’s patented technology uses micro capacitors to “turn off” these pain signals like a light switch – providing natural relief, anywhere on your body, in seconds.

It’s one of the first products on the market to use microtechnology for pain relief, and it’s available at an affordable price.

Stick it on your knee, back, neck—wherever you’re experiencing pain.
