SEC Leaders Meet to Discuss Future
SEC leaders met at the conference headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, to discuss proposed terms to settle multiple antitrust cases and an agreement on the future of revenue sharing in college sports.
Settlement terms are being distributed to the power conferences. Meanwhile, discussions reportedly point to a group decision to support the terms. The terms contain three main ideas: $2.7 billion in back damages owed to athletes, $22 million per school for revenue-sharing with current and future athletes, and a revamping of NCAA policies.
An official vote on the terms has not been held and is not expected until a later date. Before that happens, several similar meetings among SEC presidents are expected to transpire. (More)
How Green Bay Coach Doug Gottlieb's Radio Show Factors into NIL Plans
Radio host and new University of Wisconsin-Green Bay head coach Doug Gottlieb has no plans to stop his show[1] once his head coaching duties ramp up. He plans to use it as an NIL platform to help with recruiting, elevate the status of his players, and allow him to take less money to pay his assistant coaches more.
Doug Gottlieb is planning on his radio show helping with raising #NIL funds and with recruiting in his new coaching job.
He also said you have to embrace NIL and the player movement that’s now part of college basketball, and acknowledges talented players will leave UWGB.

Gottlieb emphasized that embracing the current landscape of college sports is imperative to success. His radio show offers him an opportunity to do just that – and allows him to attack NIL from an angle no other head coach has been able to. This begs the questions: will we see other coaches access media opportunities - both for themselves and as a lever to enhance NIL efforts in the future?
"For our level, we will have great NIL," Gottlieb said. "We want guys to come in and be so good that we have to retain them, and that's how we'll build our program." (More)
Mega-donations Matter More for Universities
Athletic Director U (ADU) studied substantial financial gifts given to athletic programs. Notably, of the 58 gifts examined, 32 had come within the last five years, demonstrating the increased interest in donations in recent years.
Why? ADU's research showed that athletic directors have been trending toward targeting large donors for a large sum instead of looking to cobble it together from smaller donations. ADU said that Tilman Fertitta's $20 million gift to the University of Houston sparked this trend in 2016, the beginning of Houston basketball's revival. Since then, other schools have tried – and some succeeded to replicate this donation strategy.
Turning these donations into competitive success is imperative in the current age of college sports, given current transfer portal rules etc. If a school maximizes the potential of a donation, it will add to its prestige, consequently bolstering the NIL values of athletes associated with it.
Thanks to ADU's work, we now have tons of data on the largest gifts in college athletic history for universities to plan and secure mega-donations in the future.(More)

No Prescription, No Needles & No Side Effects
I am medical scientist Clint Winters.
In the world of men's optimization, TRT is considered the "holy grail."... And now it JUST got a lot safer and more affordable.
Men, if you want to look and feel up to 10 years younger in the next 30 days, please take a look at this bombshell special report.
Top scientists have successfully extracted human-grade testosterone from a natural source and suspended it in an easy-to-use sublingual liquid (just placed under your tongue every morning).
This is not a "booster"; this is REAL testosterone entering your body. As each day passes, your "Free T" levels will reach higher and higher levels.
This means you could be days away from stronger muscles, less fat, increased confidence and energy, and the best "intimacy" of your life.... All at 1/10th the cost of expensive TRT shots.
Best of all, there are no documented side effects after extensive testing on nearly 35,000 aging men. This means you can use it even if you have pre-existing health issues that kept you from TRT.... And the transformations were POWERFUL
Warning: This stuff is so potent it is ALREADY banned in professional sports due to rapid benefits, so please do not use it if you are a tested athlete.
One last bit of advice...
I would hurry and read this report in whole while it is still online; Big Pharma is on a war path to get this banned and taken offline.
This innovation is projected to cost their TRT clinics billions of dollars.

Notre Dame QB is Using NIL to Fight Brain Cancer
C.J. Carr, a freshman QB at Notre Dame, is using NIL to fight for a cause that matters to him – battling brain cancer. Carr lost his younger brother to the disease just eight years ago. Carr has since signed with Napleton Countryside Mazda, a company with equal conviction toward finding a cure.
For every car the group sells, they will donate money to the Violet Foundation for pediatric brain cancer, which Carr cited as the primary reason he signed with them.
Coming into Notre Dame as the number one recruit in Michigan, Carr is one of the most exciting freshmen in the country in the NIL space. He plans to use his platform to support people in need. (more)
Craig Damon, Florida High School Athletic Association director, wanted to use NIL to limit transfers… which got shot down immediately. Damon’s proposed policy stated that NIL deals must be done with students at the same school the previous year.
Baylor’s Mack Rhoades says NIL is currently “unsustainable.” Rhoades also discussed the possibilities of a “super league” in college football.
